Kuala Lumpur City Centre

Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. I set my foot on KL for a short 4d3n trip for a short city getaway from Singapore. I had an comfortable 6hrs coach ride from Aeroline Singapore. The leather seats were comfortable and I manage to catch a deep nap during the journey.

I checked in to Doubletree Hilton Kuala Lumpur for my stay which will be covered in my next post.

After a late check in, I took a 10minutes stroll from my hotel to Kuala Lumpur City Centre to enjoy the evening scenery.

Famished and hungry, I ventured into Suria KLCC looking for my comfort KL food.

I took the lift to the 4th floor and saw the familiar green neon lights. Ahh, the restaurant decor has not changed but the crowd has increased quite a fair bit. No empty tables in sight, wait for 10 minutes was what told to me.

The wait worth waiting for

Yes, the picture says it all. Although they recently opened a franchise in Singapore, yet i felt the one in Malaysia still taste better. My usual order is the Nasi Bojari & Chicken Satay.

Nasi Bojari

Chicken Satay

Fried Dumplings

It was a satisfying meal. The spices were well balanced and tri-coloured rice goes well with the sambal prawns, well seasoned chicken leg & satay. I mustered enough strength to leave my comfort makan zone and move to the KLCC park to admire the evening water display

The other side of the twin tower has views of this hexagon shaped building. It is the office building of the Menara Public Bank

As it was getting late, we started to make our way back to the hotel. Took some shot whilst at the overhead bridge.

We left the hotel after breakfast at the executive lounge. The sky was cloudy which were not conducive for day shoots but I was adamant to get some photos of KLCC & KLCC Park.

There are much things to be explored at the park. There were plenty of landscaped gardens and a huge kids playground.

We walked into the park and spotted a very colourful playground

The next natural stop from KLCC is to get to the link bridge and move towards the Pavilion shopping mall for some dessert goodness & shopping. Ill cover this in the next installment.
