Hua Hin Hills Vineyard

In Singapore, we sip and savour wines either on its own or paired with our favourite food. Whenever wine is mentioned, the first impression are usually either the wine cellar/bar, or these beautiful liquids in exquisite glasses.

Coming to Hua Hin and visiting Hua Hin Hills Vineyard let us see first hand on how the grapes are cultivated in the mountainous plains, we are free to roam the vineyard and the grapes plantation in the cool Hua Hin weather.

We took a self-guided walking tour of the plantation before settling for some wine and snacks at The Sala Wines Bar & Bistro.

During the time of our visit, the grapes have just been harvested.

No grapes, but there are plenty of flowers and greenery!

Whilst walking around the vineyard, you could also take the elephant ride around the plantation.

As we completed our tour, we walked back to the main building where our table has been reserved for us.

We were ushered to our table and served a complimentary glass of homemade grape juice.

I ordered a tasting sampler of local delights and a wine tasting set as we were still quite full from our breakfast at InterContinental Hua Hin Resort.

The view from the cafe is quite awesome and therapeutic. I could stay here all day long.

One of the places I will visit everytime I arrive at Hua Hin. Read more about the Vineyard at their website here. Get a few bottles of their shiraz and grape juice home as a perfect Hua Hin gift for  friends and family.
