Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay (Premier Suite)

The brand Novotel has been vivid in my childhood memories, my dad used to bring us to stay in Novotel in Kuala Lumpur, Batam and some other countries during our holidays. This time, I returned for my 3rd stay at Novotel Clarke Quay in its Premier Suite after my review of its King Premier room (Read about my Premier Room Review Here!)

I arrived at the property approx 12noon and was glad to note that the suite is ready for my stay. Check In process was swift and efficient. We were greeted as Accor Platinum and was given a suite upgrade on a high floor with views of the Singapore River & Marina Bay.

The 60sqm Premier Suite came with a separate living and dining room area, an awesome king sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and rainfall shower.

The 60sqm Premier Suite came with a separate living and dining room area, an awesome king sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and rainfall shower.

As we entered the room, it was pleasing to see a huge welcome fruit bowl with a great variety of fruits. The suite was extremely spacious and I totally love the bathroom.

The only down side was the lack of a dining table/area as we ordered room service during the evening and had to eat it on the study table. It was also weird for the safe and wardrobe to located in the bathroom.

Staying at the Premier Suite grants us access to the Premier Lounge which offers all day refreshment, american breakfast in the morning, light snacks and complimentary evening cocktails and canapés.

As its extremely popular amongst the guests, I would recommend you turning up earlier to get a seat as the lounge has limited sofa seats offering view of the Marina Bay.

I found the evening canapés spread to be pretty good, with a salad and fruits bar, bread baskets, cold cuts, hot dishes and my personal favourite, the chicken mini-burgers.

Next morning, we decided to forgo the american breakfast at the Premier lounge for the international breakfast buffet at its main restaurant.

Glad to see a full salad bar and omelette station, great variety of fruit juices and milks with the usual hot dishes such as hash-brown, bacon, ham and spread of local delights.

Personally, I felt that the breakfast spread could be better with the inclusion of some meat dishes as I struggled to satisfy my carnivorous craving that morning.

After breakfast, we went for a dip in its lap pool whilst taking advantage of the 4pm late check out as Accor Platinum. A good staycation to wind down a busy week at work. Book your next stay at Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay by visiting their website here.
