The Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa is one of the newest additional of IHG properties in the Bali region. Located along the pristine beaches of Nusa Dua and on the waterfront of Tanjong Benoa Beach, the resort features a wide range of room selection from pool access room to ocean view rooms and themed family suites. 

Check-In was swift and efficient and also friendly, I was greeted as a Spire elite member and was upgraded to the Ocean View King Room which features great sunrise view according to the Front Office Manager! Great! 

The well appointed 35sqm King Benoa Ocean View Room features a king sized bed with panoramic view of the Benoa Bay with an outdoor balcony. The bedroom features a LCD TV with sturdy wood workstation and a sofa chair along the bed. 

The room looks modern and is extremely breezy throughout the day. The bathroom has a luxurious rainfall shower and usual holiday inn branded toiletries. The sea view rooms definitely has the best views amongst the other rooms in the property. 

Having arrived after a heavy breakfast from the InterContinental Bali, I explored the common areas of the hotel, was pleasantly surprised to find a awesome custom made Brunswick pool table, which is extremely balanced and could be well considered as tournament standard. 

The property features 2 swimming pool, one is located within the property building's atrium itself which has a pool bar where you can enjoy food & drinks. The other outdoor landscaped pool has lounging beds and a kids pool which is located just beside the Nudi beach club

Whilst indulging myself on a game of pool, I ordered some light bites from the Duke Pool Bar and was relatively satisfied with the standard of the food. They tasted good and was plated beautifully. 

As the night approached, I went to the in-house spa and massage, Tea Tree Spa for a 1 hour balinese massage. Tea Tree Spa is available at quite a few of the Holiday Inns in South East Asia such as Melaka, Batam, Bandung and their treatment quality is quite good and value for money. 

The Spa looks luxurious and modern, beautiful, spacious and the rooms themselves has a separate shower area, changing room, seating area followed by the treatment area. Very good indeed! 

During the evening, I headed towards the Nudi beach club for a pint of ice cold beer and dinner after the treatment. 

Nudi Beach Club offers a wide range of tapas at reasonable prices, from IDR50k for tapas and during my stay, had a 1 for 1 drinks promotion from 1800hrs to 2000hrs. I ordered a few tapas to try whilst enjoying the cool evening Benoa breeze. 

As usual, after my evening treats, I went round the property and took some night shots. 

Good Morning Bali Benoa! 

In the morning, I headed towards the Pasar Market Cafe for their International Breakfast buffet spread. However as I was a little tired from my morning sunrise shots, I had some bread and eggs instead. 

Overall, it was a great holiday inn experience, the rooms were good, could be better if there was a bathtub, the Ocean view is amazing, the restaurants and bars had a good product offering and the Tea Tree Spa was awesome as always. A great stay at this new property and definitely a place I would return to during my next trip to Bali!
