Hilton Singapore (Executive Corner Room)

Hilton Singapore is located strategically along Orchard road, the busy and famous shopping district of Singapore. Recently, I took advantage of the regional Hilton Worldwide 25% off promotion and booked a Deluxe King Room for $220++ per night.
As a paying Hilton Diamond guest, I was upgraded to the Executive Corner Room and also accorded full executive club lounge benefits including all day access to the executive lounge, continental breakfast spread, afternoon high tea and evening cocktails and canapés.
I arrived at the property approx 12 noon and was glad that my room has been prepared and ready for me.

The Executive Corner Room features a separate living area with panoramic views of Tanglin area and has a glass work station with comfortable ergonomic chair. I was welcomed with a frui basket of tropical fruits and 2 boxes of gourmet chocolates which are delicious.
I was amazed by the spacious bathroom which features twin vanity area with separate sinks, luxurious rainfall shower with deep soaking tub and a separate toilet.
The best thing of this room? The spacious outdoor balcony with your personal sitting area for you to admire the scenery and cool city breeze.

With luxurious club lounge benefits, it makes sense to drop by the lounge for a little afternoon tea. Gourmet sandwiches, cookies, tea, soft drinks and juices and local snacks are served during the afternoon.
The modern amd contemporary decor of the club lounge made it felt very cosy and inviting for its guests to settle down for a drink or even reading a book.

Executive Lounge guests are also invited for evening cocktails and evening canapés, which offers free flow alcoholic beverages such as red, white wine, champagne, beer and simple cocktails. Immerse yourself in small pre dinner bites such as a free flow salad bar, hot bites, cheese platter and selected gourmet sweets and cakes.

Next Morning, we went over to the executive lounge for breakfast as the main restaurant was quite crowded. Executive Lounge guests have a choice of two venues for their breakfast.
There was an extremely bad experience during breakfast but it was swiftly addressed by the hotel management. I was given an extended late check out at 6pm followed by my arranged dinner at Opus on 6pm.
Overall, the property seemed a little aged, the executive lounge offerings was not as impressive as my first stay a year back. The kind service recovery gesture was welcoming and a strong sign from the management on making my stay right. With an ongoing Asia Pacific promotion, I would be looking forward to a return stay at this property soon.
