Earlier this year, I had my first stay at Hilton Kuala Lumpur and the room was good, spacious and beautiful. However, during my that stay, the Executive Lounge was undergoing renovation and we had our evening canapes & cocktails at the lobby lounge instead. 

I returned to the Hilton Kuala Lumpur recently and as a Hilton HHonors Diamond member, was upgraded to its Executive King Room with complimentary access to the Executive Lounge with breakfast for 2 at the main restaurant. 

The 38sqm well appointment Executive King Rooms are located on the upper floors of the properties with a Hilton Serenity King bed and my favourite, floor to ceiling panoramic windows with views of either the Kuala Lumpur Lake Garden or KL Sentral/Brickfields area.

I love the open concept of the room, with a deep soaking tub and separate luxurious rainfall shower, not forgetting my favourite Peter Thomas Roth bath and skincare products 

I just felt that the room could be better if they had a proper work table, the squarish table looks like a temporary fixture.

Next morning, we headed to Vasco, the main restaurant located at the lobby level. Vasco features an international buffet spread, including fresh juices, soft serve, cold cuts, dimsum, local delights and continental staples that kinda made me spoiled for choice.

It was a short stay at the Hilton, not matter how short the stay is, I would be always able to squeeze a visit to Chynna for a meal. The review of my dimsum lunch at Chynna is up next!
