Q1 Resort & Spa (Gold Coast)

The Q1 Resort & Spa is located on the beach-front of Surfer's Paradise, it is the tallest residential tower in not just Gold Coast, but in Australia! I chose this property as my first lodging choice for Gold Coast due to its amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding area.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom Spa apartment with Ocean view for AUD300 nett per night due to a seasonal promotion. The resort is a 35minutes drive away from Gold Coast Airport.

The 140sqm 2 bedroom spa apartment with ocean view is huge, more spacious than most of our HDB we have back home, comes with 2 living area and a dining table for 7, a master bedroom with King bed and a guest bedroom with twin bed configuration.
The amazing part of this apartment was that, it came with a full functioning kitchen, a microwave, oven, dishwasher, stove, a cutlery tray and all types of pots/pans/baking trays which you need for all your cooking/baking needs.
Don't forget the amazing view of Surfer's Paradise!

All windows in this apartment offers an panoramic sea view which is a big wow!
Both bedrooms comes with a full height walk in wardrobe, work table, LCD TV with accompanying bathroom with walk in shower, the master bathroom has a luxurious deep soaking spa bath with Jacuzzi function.
The bath amenities are from Romy, a company which produce them with local all-natural ingredients, sourced worldwide, here only in New South Wales.

One main attraction of staying in an apartment is not just getting that all-communal feel of living together with your friends, but also the flexibility of cooking your favorite food yourself at anytime you want. That comes without fretting about whether breakfast ends at 1030hrs or that all expensive room service.
I was the self-proclaimed chef de cuisine of the trip, stirring up omelette, scrambled eggs, hot toasted croissant, freshly poached vegetables and grilled meats for the evenings.
It was a great experience staying at Q1 Resort and Spa, the view is to die for and the in-room facilities just felt like a home away from home.
