Xin Cuisine @ Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium

During my recent stay at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium's ASEAN Suite, I visited Xin Cuisine again for a dimsum lunch. Dining at Xin Cuisine has been a regular pitstop for me, whenever I am in the area or staying at the property.

We had a party of 5 and we ordered a mixture of sharing plates and dimsum to share. We ordered the highly recommended almond roasted chicken. The chicken is succullent, juicy and skin crispy, topped with savoury almond flakes.

The Lobster Ee-fu Noodles and King Prawn Crispy Noodles are good as always. Rich and flavourful stock, fresh seafood and al-dente noodles.

Next came a variety of dimsum.

The Century Egg Congee is so-so, the congee is thick but it is slightly bland. I felt that the rice rolls were a little thicker this time, the prawns filling are sweet and succulent. The other dimsum spread we had were beancurd skin roll, braised chicken feet, pineapple pork ribs which were good.

I love the Prawn Dumplings, the skin is thin, and the prawn fillings are mixed with chives and fish roe that has a refreshing taste and nice popping texture when you bite into it.

Another of my must order is the mushroom abalone pie that has a light flaky crust with savory saucy mushroom and baby abalone fillings that is just awesome!
