Echo Point Holiday Villas

In my previous post, I covered about the Echo Point Lookout. Accomodation is plenty in the katoomba region, from hostels to apartments, villas and luxurious 5 star accomodations. This time round we decided on this local operated villa, Echo Point Holiday Villas,

Echo Point Holiday Villas offer villas with bedrooms, seperate bath, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living rooms. It also comes with outdoor garden, parking garage and our favourite, gas operated bbq pit & side benches!

There are different room configurations in the 5 different standalone villas. We opted for the 2 bedroom villa with twin bed and king bed. The rooms were spacious and bedding comes with electric blankets

Master Bedroom

The interior of the villa is basic, rustic and cosy. There was a internal heater which warmed us from evening chills. There were everything we needed, from pans to plates, wine glasses to mugs, sewing kits to common salt and pepper.

We cooked our own breakfast after having a trip to coles (easily 20minutes walk or a 5minute drive to Katoomba Town Centre) We operated the gas BBQ Pit at the gardens and had quite an enjoyable dinner of grilled lamb racks and oysters, mushrooms.

The ensuite bathroom was decent, it came with a normal shower and hot water facilities. The tiled flooring became extremely cold at night, walking barefooted on it provokes a jump or two.

These well appointed villas is a short 2-3 minute walk to the Echo Point Lookout and I paid AUD380. Please note that you need to pay a AUD100 deposit and there is a 2% surcharge on credit card payments. In total, i paid AUD102 as deposit and AUD280 cash to Ross (The friendly owner) who came by on our first night.

If you are interested in this villa, it is bookable via this website

The Villas are easily spotted from the road leading to Echo Point Lookout from Katoomba town. In my next post, I will cover about my morning walk at Wentworth Falls! Ps : It comes with some awesome waterfalls~.
