Good Morning from Sydney!

I taken a 2 weeks break from updating my blog due to a hectic study and work schedule. With my final exams due in 9 dec, Regular blogging should resume as immediate.

During my recent trip to Sydney, we were finding reasonably price accomodation (AUD70 per pax?) for the 4 of us, hotels seems to be pricey. I went up to tripadvisor to search for serviced apartments and tadah, meriton world tower at 290AUD per night for 4 pax! I was told it was a steal considering that their usual going rates are easily 400AUD onwards?

The Meriton World Tower is conveniently located at the intersection between liverpool street and george street and is in the world square premise.

We arrived early but was informed an early check in was not ready so we went to shopping at the vicinity. Meriton World Tower is near to major attractions such as the Queen Victoria Building and Hyde Park. It is also 5 mins walk away to Darling Harbour, Pitt street, Chinatown. We returned approx 1500hrs and the polite front office staff informed that our room is ready and extended a upgrade to a 3 bedroom apartment for us!  Brilliant =)

We were given a room on the upper floors, 72 if im not wrong. The apartment was large and is as big as my flat at home! The living room is extremely spacious, sofa were comfortable. The TV had a wide range of sports channels including Barclays Premier League! A big thumbs up for my family evening gather!

The Kitchen is equipped with full set of dining cutleries and utensils, they also had a oven which we used to make a nasty grilled lamb chop for supper that night!

This has to be one of my most enjoyable serviced apartment stays. The views are magnificent, the design of the apartment is modern, efficient and spacious. There is no breakfast offered but with the amount of deli's available a stone throw away, i would do away with the usual breakfast stuff and head off for a nice hot coffee and croissant anytime!
